Abbey Rock was established in 2001 by winemaker Les Sampson, viticulturalist Ted Apted and wine marketer Michael Parkinson.

Our passion is to produce individual, elegant wines from some of Australia's most highly regarded vineyard regions. These include our Helmsford vineyard in the Clare Valley, the Old Schoolhouse vineyard in the terrra rossa region of Coonawarra and the Hahndorf Rise vineyard in the Adelaide Hills.

Our headquarters are at Balhannah, in the heart of the Adelaide Hills wine region of South Australia.

We export to Europe, Scandinavia, Asia and North America.
